What It Is

Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR) determines your pattern of fat distribution. This ratio indicates where your body tends to store body fat, which is an accurate predictor of weight-related health risks.

WHR is calculated by dividing the measurement around your waist (waist circumference) by the measurement around your hips (hip circumference).
